Singles Auction was our biggest fundraising event of the year since 2012.  As Hi-Life Raisers is a volunteer-based and not-for-profit group, we have decided in 2016 that we will no longer be organising this event due to its high logistics and sponsorship requirements. In addition, we’re running out of single friends!!!

Nevertheless, we want to thank you for your support and interest. You can still help and contribute to our fundraising efforts by buying Entertainment Books or Potato Paks from us.

A little history of our Singles Auction Fundraising Event:

What was all this Singles Auction about?

To put it very simply, we auction singles out to the highest bidder for a dinner date. Ticket sales, all winning bids and raffle tickets went directly to the selected charity for the year.

How you had helped?

A couple weeks before the event, we called out for Singles who were willing to volunteer themselves out to be auctioned off. Single Volunteers needed to be available for the event and for the date.

At the main event, each Single will be auctioned off one at a time. Interested bidders will raise their bids against each other.  The highest bid wins a date.

Even non-singles were encouraged to attend as they could always come along to our auction and win some of the fantastic prizes that are kindly contributed by our generous sponsors. We also welcome donations directly to our selected charity for the year.
